Educational Activities
We all know that education is valuable and that it earns us respect in society. There are numerous advantages to education. A well-educated person is a valuable asset to society who will contribute to the country's development.
Benefits of donating to an educational charity:
Every child, regardless of who they are or where they come from, deserves access to quality learning opportunities—from the age of three, when they begin acquiring early learning skills, to the completion of their education.
EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION (THE FOUNDATION OF LEARNING):
Over 80% of a child’s cumulative brain development occurs before the age of 6, highlighting the critical importance of appropriate care and brain stimulation in the early years to ensure healthy brain development and growth. Strong investment in ECCE has the potential to provide all young children with such access, enabling them to participate and flourish in the educational system throughout their lives. MMMCT, through its programmatic interventions, is working to support the early learning of children. (Double time MMMCT in last line)
FOUNDATIONAL LITERACY AND NUMERACY (AN URGENT & NECESSARY PREREQUISITE TO LEARNING):
The ability to read and write, and to perform basic operations with numbers, is a necessary foundation and an indispensable prerequisite for all future schooling and lifelong learning. However, our internal surveys indicate that in our community—especially in the rural areas of villages and city mohallas—we are currently facing a learning crisis. A large proportion of children are enrolled in primary grades, yet many are not attaining foundational literacy and numeracy. Addressing this gap is an urgent mission. MMMCT provides an excellent platform for children aged 3 to 8, through Balwadi Centers, Kindergarten, Pre-Primary Schools, and Primary Schools, where we support children in progressing to the primary level with school readiness skills. For children aged 6 to 8, we work with schools to further strengthen their foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
EQUITABLE AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION: LEARNING FOR ALL:
Education is the single greatest tool for achieving social justice and equality. Inclusive and equitable education—an essential goal in its own right—is also critical to building an inclusive and equitable society. While the Indian education system and successive government policies have made steady progress in bridging gender and social category gaps at all levels of school education, significant disparities remain—especially at the elementary level. MMMCT is committed to programmatic interventions that provide an inclusive and equitable environment where every child thrives, and no child loses any opportunity to learn.
HOLISTIC, INTEGRATED, ENJOYABLE, AND ENGAGING LEARNING PROCESS:
"According to the National Education Policy 2020, the curricular and pedagogical structure of school education will be reconfigured to make it responsive and relevant to the developmental needs and interests of learners at different stages of their development, corresponding to the age ranges of 3-8, 8-11, 11-14, and 14-18 years, respectively. In alignment with this, MMMCT is working with children, teachers, and the government to ensure that education not only fosters cognitive development but also builds character and creates holistic, well-rounded individuals equipped with essential 21st-century skills."
